Texas-New Mexico Power Company has 15 customer service centers
in two states.  Our emergency operations plan is a unified, well-organized document to assist in providing swift relief to affected customers.  Due to the diverse service areas of our company, we may be subjected to hurricanes along the Texas gulf coast, tornadoes in West Texas and ice storms in North Texas.  Our field technicians and contractor allies are acutely aware of the need for quick, effective response to adverse situations.

Texas-New Mexico Power participates in Southwest Mutual Assistance conferences annually to stay abreast of the industry needs.  We have established relationships with area police, fire, city and other critical-load customers for added coordination.  Although no one wants to be affected by a major storm, proper planning and preparedness is key to responsiveness.
